I'M
Sheyenne weber.

Hi there,
My name is Sheyenne Weber and I graduated from the North Dakota State University accredited Interior Design program, minoring in business administration in May 2017.
I grew up in Casselton, North Dakota and was a creative child always singing, getting my hands dirty, and learning through travel and experiences. I enjoy being a team player on projects working towards a common goal. According to Gallup's StrengthFinder, my strengths include Discipline, Learner, Futuristic, Achiever, and Harmony. I believe these guide how I work.
During the summer of 2016 I participated two internships to help further my knowledge and help me prepare for a career in this profession. I spent five weeks at a commercial interior design firm in Shanghai, China. In addition, I spent ten weeks at Hannahers, Inc., a dealership in Fargo, ND.

I am currently work as a project coordinator for a large healthcare system. This is an archive of my collegiate studio projects.

RECAP OF INTERNSHIPS
Michelle and I traveled with 12 others for a three day hiking trip over the Dragon Boat holiday. We had lots of fun with Project Manager Robert. This was an exhausting six hour hike, climbing over 250 flights of stairs.
Tasked to create individual design proposal for DNV GL's new headquarters with Chinese and Nordic influences. Presented the design to Creative Director Chris and her team. Click on the link to view the presentation.
Sandy brought us to several showrooms, markets, and landmark icons. A favorite experience included attending the launch party for Haworth's new Fern chair.

CJ 2 Design
Interior Design Intern
Along with classmate Michelle, I spent five weeks in Shanghai, China that included working in an international design office, attending a team building trip to Mountain Huangshan, and traveling to Beijing for a weekend by train. It was an absolute eye opening experience that created challenges, formed new perspective, and creating lasting relationships. I sharpened my written and communication skills greatly in this international environment.

Hannaher's, Inc.
Interior Design Intern
After arriving home, I worked the rest of the summer part time at Hannaher's in Fargo as they transitioned into their new office. I was responsible for condensing the finish library, contacting reps, and assisting designers in a variety of ways. Hannaher's is a workplace and healthcare dealership.

Vanity
Design Assistance
I worked with Vanity's Senior Visual Manager to produce store renderings of a new boutique they are launching. I worked closely with her producing several different renderings showing different finishes and materials and was able to fuel my creativity deciding the layout of store fixtures and entourage. I made recommendations on which finishes would be most appropriate for a retail environment.
